Cinematic Meditations

Green Heron Another incredibly moving album from the criminally unknown Aurora Borealis. Has the perfect mix of post-rock and neoclassical elements. A worthy follow up to "Goodbye", which would be one of the top 5 post-rock albums of 2018 if it had gotten wider publicity. I really hope this band has more albums in their future as they are creating some of the most beautiful music in the genre. Favorite track: C'è luce qui II.

knutepanhead Deha has a gift. All of us who are fans know this. He is exceptional at expressing emotions through his music which moves all of us exceptionally. I sent one of my daughters this as a gift. She told me it almost made her cry. Deha's music has actually brought me to tears. No better testimony than that. This man is a gift to the world. Many, many thanks Deha, my friend and brother. Favorite track: Reflections.

about

After the well-appreciated album "Goodbye", Déhà's emotional post-rock with booming climax comes back with "Cinematic Meditations", which takes the listener away, appreciating nature and its powers, its beautiful darkness but also its brightest landscapes. Music to close your eyes to.

As usual, Aurora Borealis is a band without boundaries as taking its power & climaxes from metal music while neoclassical, post rock and ambient music relate to a unique serving of emotional & powerful music.
